Evaluation Methodology & Plan

Summary

As part of the epSOS project, this document deals with the evaluation of the large-scale pilot and of the two pilot services, which will be implemented and used: Patient Summary and ePrescription. The present document recalls the general principles that guide the evaluation. The aim is to draw a first methodological approach. We define the evaluation concepts, principles and dimensions, and then describe the evaluation process with its necessary steps aligning it with the overall project plan. At its delivery date – the end of March 2009 – the Deliverable seeks to give a view on the evaluation team’s perspective, which has taken the changes into consideration that may occur in the near future .

Therefore its stresses the importance of the integration of new inputs from the other Work Packages as well as the role of the advisory board evaluation, which should, and will be important for the technical Work Packages.
