6th - 8th November 2013: ICT 2013

The biggest ICT event in Europe: 'ICT 2013 - Create, Connect, Grow' took place in Vilnius (Lithuania) on 6-8 November, 2013. As one of the biggest events during the Lithuanian Presidency it brought together more than 5.000 researchers, innovators, entrepreneurs, industry representatives, young people and politicians. The event focussed on Horizon 2020 - the EU's Framework Programme for Research and Innovation for 2014-2020.

The venue hosted the LSP roadshow featuring an own booth dedicated to the LSP projects. epSOS as one of them was part of the booth to perform "doctor shows" with live demonstrations as well as to distribute materials and giveaways.

The LSP stand was one of the most attractive booths also offering ice cream under the adjusted LSP theme "build connect taste". Not only Commissioner Neelie Kroes enjoyed one of our famous ice creams made out of the differently combined building blocks (ingredients, flavours) in Vilnius but also the booth was voted as best stand during ICT2013 in cluster 1.

Many people from around the world used the chance to get in touch with epSOS or to receive a personal update on the progress. Thus, the event can be considered as very useful in terms of marketing and networking for the project.

More information about the event can be found here.
