epSOS – the European eHealth Project

After more than 3 years of hard work to develop feasible cross-border eHealth services, the efforts of the epSOS project team have finally culminated in the large scale pilot entering into operational mode . In this phase, which is active since April 2012, the developed solutions are tested in a real-life environment.

Semantic interoperability of eP in the cross border setting report

Fredrik Lindén wins HealthTech Innovation Award with epSOS!

During the sixth EMEA Summit, held in Abu Dhabi from 11th to 12th of February 2013 the ceremony for the ID People EMEA Awards 2013 took place. This year Fredrik Lindén received the HealthTech Innovation Award as epSOS Project Coordinator for pioneering the adoption of auto ID technologies in the world of healthcare. Find Initiates file downloadhere the complete Winner's Announcement.

Open source reference implementation of NCP available

Since 25th of January 2013, the new Open Source reference implementation, commonly referred to as OpenNCP that connects the national eHealth system of a Participating Nation to the epSOS network is available.
