epSOS – the European eHealth Project

piloting countries in phase 1

After more than three years of hard work to develop feasible cross-border eHealth services, the efforts of the epSOS project team have now culminated in the large scale pilot entering into operational mode on the 13th of April 2012. In this piloting phase the solutions that have been developed are tested in a real-life environment over a one-year period.

epSOS – Smart Open Services for European Patients

epSOS is the main European electronic Health (eHealth) interoperability project co-funded by the European Commission and the partners. It focuses on improving medical treatment of citizens while abroad by providing health professionals with the necessary patient data.
