epSOS – the European eHealth Project
epSOS – Smart Open Services for European Patients
epSOS is the main European electronic Health (eHealth) interoperability project co-funded by the European Commission and the partners. It focuses on improving medical treatment of citizens while abroad by providing health professionals with the necessary patient data.

epSOS’ first appearance under the common LSP umbrella
The theme of the sixth Ministerial eGovernment Conference in Poznan was fully committed to the Large Scale Pilots (LSPs) motto: Build, connect, grow. The event was the first in a series of roadshows where epSOS, among all of the LSPs, appears under a common umbrella. Also, the epSOS event in Athens was a huge success. Read more...
